Sometimes a spelling error of just one letter can be tragic!





This one, although both cute and funny, is actually sad as well, since it speaks to the state of the Ghanaian public education system...





This is wrong on so many levels...





It can be scary if you miss one letter!

Some phrases just shouldn't be abbreviated...




This place is gone now, but I'm happy someone got a photo of the sign. Naming your pub and Internet cafe Virus is just wrong on multiple levels. Maybe they died of one such virus...






Ghanaians can sleep anywhere it seems - on narrow benches, traffic medians, work desks.. but the goats take the cake! Only Ghana goats can make an overstuffed roof of an ancient mini van (tro tro) look peaceful... sweet dreams!

(I've recently discovered a facebook page where various travellers and volunteers put up photos of the things you can only see on the streets of Africa. Some of the Ghana ones above... these things I will definitely miss when I leave the motherland...)
